Are you sure you are the computer administrator? The dummy certificate issue is caused by the simcity folder being readonly. Also in the last line of this guide I posted an updated server (1.4). Download it and copy it over your simcity folder (torrent version) and try again. Tell me if it works.
sometimes i really dont understand whats happening. apparently there is a difference between the version provdied in the v1.5 of vulpeszedra and this one (which is v1.3) even if updated to v1.5 the install looks different. but, now it works. i got the files from gully, which was the v1.5. thank you though, i never thought itll come down to this.maybe mention that in the guide above? i think many people will go for the v1.5 which wont work
Thanks for sharing the link. I looked at the files of that torrent, and they are a bit different, the description of that torrent has also added alot of extra steps (which are not needed in this version). So I rather everyone sticks to this method because if something goes wrong, atleast I can help them. In the near future when the SimCity Server is stable enough (with all the features restored). I will make my own updated torrent and link it here.
Works like a charm here. I was wondering, does the 1.6 refer to the latest working patch? Since there have been so many patches since, was wondering if somebody was working on updates of this version. And if there is a place where we can monitor progress?
